I am presenting you a very interesting effect of sound on our brain. To keep myself short in this introduction I will just demonstrate the effect (it will take 24s of your time, and trust me, it will be really interesting :). All you are going to need are earphones: you will not hear the effect if you don't use earphones (you can't use speakers - I'll explain why latter :)First, listen this 6s long audio with only 150Hz frequency tone:
Now, listen an another 6s long audio with only 151Hz frequency tone:
And now, the interesting part. :) Listen the next audio - it's also 6s long, but it will give you sound with frequency of 150Hz on your left earphone and sound with frequency of 151Hz on your right earphone (I told you that you'll need earphones ;). While you listen this audio your brain will hear a new, pulsating sound: the new sound will pulsate with frequency of 1Hz (it will actually pulsate with a frequency that is equal to difference of the frequencies that are used for the stimulation, in this case: 151Hz-150Hz=1Hz).
For the end of the demonstration listen an audio that will give you sound with frequency of 150Hz on your left earphone and sound with frequency of 152Hz on your right earphone: this will result that the third sound that brain hears will pulsate with 2Hz - notice while you're listening that it is pulsating twice faster.
Further on, I will explain why this is happening and why this type of signals is very important to the brain (this is why we can figure where a sound is coming from). Also I will show you how this phenomena is related with achieving different states of conscience (the whole brain actually becomes synchronized with this frequencies what can be used to control it): from concentration and active thinking over relaxation to deep meditation (depending on what sound frequencies you chose) and I will present you little software that you can use for the sound brainwave stimulation. At the end, for those who want to learn more about this phenomena I prepared a little list of papers published on this topic in scientific journals
It is known (there are many papers in scientific journals) that during meditation energy of low frequency components is becoming greater and energy of middle frequency components is becoming lower. To be more precise, theta waves (4-7Hz) and for meditators with more experience delta waves (up to 4Hz) are increasing, and alpha waves (8-12Hz) are decreasing.
Also, many studies show that meditation is increasing coherence between left (often considered as logical one) and right (often considered as intuitive one) brain hemisphere (brain waves from left and right side look significantly more similar during meditation than in non-meditative state).
If you want to purchase a lie detector, also known as polygraph you must notice that it is not really easy to find something cheap, but still very accurate. In this article I will point out some basic info on how polygraphs work (with pointing out what is relation between measuring a stress level and lie detection), but also recommend you what polygraph to buy and explain why.
I am presenting you a little experiment, I discovered few years ago, that will show you how easy it is to "talk" to your subconscience. All you need is a bob (plummet) - can be home-made, 5 minutes of free time and desire to explore your mind.
If you don’t like the idea of someone
“talking” to your sub consciousness (in spite of me convincing
you of its harmlessness), but you want to use many advantages of the
hypnosis, the solution is self hypnosis induction. Standard method for self hypnosis induction is to use mp3 tapes with hypnosis
suggestions, there are lot of specialized tapes for e.g. weight loss or
stop smoking etc.
But this way of hypnosis is not really effective because
mp3 tape doesn’t know when you really are hypnotized and when it should
start with suggestions - it depends from person to person (suggestibility,
concentration, power of visualization etc.). I am working on biofeedback
self hypnosis - the hypnosis method where you using taped instructions,
but you are also connected with computer which measures you brain wave frequency
and indicates your state of mind. Computer controls taped instructions and
gives you just the instruction you need at the specific moment. I believe
that this approach will make revolution in self hypnosis area.
I am presenting you my little program integrated in this web page compares number you insert with random number generated by computer. You can register (free, very simple - no e-mail needed) and have your own statistics. Global and all individual statistics are available and visible to everybody.
Up to this moment more than 1000 users registrated and did around 20000 tests.
Lucid dreaming is conscious dreaming, with reference to dreaming where person who is dreaming is aware that he dreams, and that he can use it for control his dream.
Most of time which we achieve in a dream when we sleep, is characterized by REM phase brain waves. Attribute of the REM phase is winking eyes. Device that I presented here has eyeglasses with source of light and receiver of infrared light. Infrared light is focused to shutter, so change dose reflected of light detected wicking.
When arrangement detects REM phase of dream, it abandons configurable acoustic signals, which have part to warn person who is dreaming on that he is dreaming, and so bring him in phase of lucid dream.
Beside the acoustic brainwave stimulation (basic brainwave stimulator theory is explained in brainwave stimulator session so I am highly recommending you to take a look at it before reading this part) brain stimulation is possible with light too. Combination of acoustic brainwave stimulator and light brainwave stimulator is also very possible.
Electroencephalogram (EEG) is a device that amplifies and displays brain electrical potentials.
Every EEG consists of brain electrical potentials amplifier, digitalization (conversion of analog signal to ones and zeros – binary numbers) and displaying of data. Based on this model, and some useful advices from openEEG project I developed an EEG system, let’s analyze each part separately (to completely understand this section you need some basic electrical knowledge).
A man dies once in an infinitely small time interval.
How do we know that?
Observe this moment, recall the moment before it. What do you feel towards yourself in that moment?
You are aware that is you, but you don t have any special feelings directed
to that person… That time is past, that person is no more, you don t care
what came of her. Her experiences, everything she was doing is permanently
embodied inside of you, in your memories, your financial status, your private
life, but that person is the past, if you recall a misery of some sort (for
example, an injury that occurred to that person) it doesn't bother you much,
you are bothered by possible consequences the injury has left upon your
status in the observed momentum and the way in which you feel it will affect
you in the future.
Telepathy is the ability to exchange thoughts between two person without using
a known media.
Medicine allow the theory that in a certain point of evolution man had
extremely developed telepathic abilities which have weakened as a result
of ignorance.
An ancient method of bringing a person (works with animals as well) in a state in which all somatic senses are eliminated.
Only a part of human brain stays awake - the part in charge of understanding the hypnotist’s speech. Maybe not precisely understanding, but recieving vocal orders directed to subconsciesness, which pass by the control of reason (that is why some people, for example, bark if the hypnotist tells them to).
How bacteria "talk" - Bonnie Bassler discovered that bacteria "talk" to each other, using a chemical language that lets them coordinate defense and mount attacks. The find has stunning implications for medicine, industry -- and our understanding of ourselves.
Software and complete explanation on how ti works
Brainwave stimulator
Stimulate your brain with sound: depending on what sound frequencies you chose sound stimulation can help you to achieve mental states from concentration and active thinking over relaxation to deep meditation. Listen here an example and read clear explanation on how sound stimulation really works.
