Lucid dreaming device E-mail

lucid_sanj_mali_mali.jpgLucid dreaming is conscious dreaming, with reference to dreaming where person who is dreaming is aware that he dreams, and that he can use it for control his dream.
Most of time which we achieve in a dream when we sleep, is characterized by REM phase brain waves. Attribute of the REM phase is winking eyes. Device that I presented here has eyeglasses with source of light and receiver of infrared light. Infrared light is focused to shutter, so change dose reflected of light detected wicking.
When arrangement detects REM phase of dream, it abandons configurable acoustic signals, which have part to warn person who is dreaming on that he is dreaming, and so bring him in phase of lucid dream.

Device consists of eyeglasses with infrared transmitter and receiver, amplifier, permeable filter (from 0.5Hz to 2Hz - admit signals which are result from two winking in one second to one winking in two seconds), analogical digital converter, microcontroller that from gathered signals detected winking (in this project microcontroller which I applied - ATMEGA 8 - have 10 bit analog to digital converter) and signalization set - loudspeaker, which activates when winking is detected. Frequency and duration of sound signals which will be heard by loudspeaker, those parametars are part of user settings.
Till now, device is unfolded and constituted to the part from microcontroller. I hope that termination of the device will be soon. You can see how that would look like n the picture.

How bacteria "talk" - Bonnie Bassler discovered that bacteria "talk" to each other, using a chemical language that lets them coordinate defense and mount attacks. The find has stunning implications for medicine, industry -- and our understanding of ourselves.
